Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Air pressure gauge
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Teflon tape
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a well-ventilated area with solid, level flooring and adequate clearance for maintenance.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect for shipping damage. Check all components against packing list.
  3. Position the Compressor: Place on a level surface with vibration pads if provided. Ensure proper clearance from walls and obstructions.
  4. Connect Air Lines: Install air lines using appropriate fittings. Apply Teflon tape to threaded connections to prevent leaks.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded electrical outlet matching voltage requirements. Use dedicated circuit if required.
  6. Oil Check and Fill: Check oil level and fill to proper level with recommended compressor oil if oil-lubricated model.
  7. Initial Test Run: Run compressor through initial cycle to check for proper operation, leaks, and pressure build-up.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper ventilation and follow all local electrical codes.

Key Features

Two-Stage Pump System

Advanced two-stage compression provides higher efficiency, cooler operation, and longer pump life compared to single-stage compressors.

ASME Certified Tank

Heavy-duty ASME certified air tank with safety valve and drain valve for reliable, safe operation and compliance with industry standards.

Thermal Overload Protection

Built-in thermal overload protection prevents motor damage from overheating during extended operation or high-demand situations.

Low Oil Shutdown

Automatic shutdown system activates when oil level drops below safe operating level, preventing pump damage and ensuring longevity.

Pressure Control System

Precise pressure regulation with adjustable cut-in and cut-out settings for optimal performance with various tools and applications.

Vibration Isolation

Rubber isolation mounts reduce vibration and noise transmission, protecting the compressor and improving workplace comfort.

Operating Modes Explained

Continuous Run

For applications requiring constant air supply such as sandblasting or multiple tool operation

Intermittent Duty

Standard operation for most tools with automatic start/stop based on pressure demands

Low Pressure Mode

Reduced pressure setting for delicate tools and finishing applications

High Pressure Mode

Maximum pressure for heavy-duty tools and industrial applications

Maintenance Mode

Special setting for maintenance procedures and system checks

Energy Saver

Optimized operation to reduce energy consumption during light use periods

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload Check power supply, reset overload switch, verify pressure switch operation
Low air pressure Air leaks, worn valves, clogged intake filter Check for leaks, inspect valves, clean or replace air filter
Excessive noise/vibration Loose components, worn bearings, improper mounting Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, ensure proper installation
Overheating Dirty cooling fins, low oil, restricted ventilation Clean cooling surfaces, check oil level, improve ventilation
Oil in air lines Worn piston rings, overfilled oil, faulty separator Check piston rings, adjust oil level, inspect air/oil separator
Frequent cycling Air leaks, faulty pressure switch, undersized tank Locate and repair leaks, adjust or replace pressure switch

Error Codes

  • E01: Overload protection activated - Allow cool down, check ventilation
  • E02: Low oil pressure - Check oil level and pump
  • E03: High temperature - Clean cooling system, improve ventilation
  • E04: Pressure switch fault - Check switch and connections
  • E05: Motor fault - Contact service center
  • E06: Tank pressure high - Check pressure relief valve
