Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Pressure gauge
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Teflon tape
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a well-ventilated area with stable, level flooring away from flammable materials.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect for shipping damage. Check all components are present.
  3. Position the Compressor: Place on a solid, level surface with adequate clearance (minimum 12 inches) on all sides for airflow.
  4. Connect Power Supply: Connect to appropriate power source (check voltage requirements). Ensure proper grounding.
  5. Install Air Lines: Connect air lines using appropriate fittings. Apply Teflon tape to threaded connections.
  6. Set Pressure Regulator: Adjust pressure regulator to recommended operating pressure for your tools.
  7. Initial Test Run: Run compressor without load for 10 minutes to check for leaks and proper operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper ventilation and follow all safety guidelines.

For extended operation with multiple tools or spray painting applications

Intermittent Mode

Energy-saving mode for occasional tool use with automatic start/stop

High Pressure Mode

Maximum pressure output for demanding applications like sandblasting

Low Pressure Mode

Reduced pressure for delicate tools and precision applications

Maintenance Mode

Special mode for oil changes and system maintenance procedures

Winter Mode

Cold weather operation with modified start-up sequence

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload Check power supply, reset thermal overload, inspect pressure switch
Low air pressure Air leaks, worn piston rings, clogged filter Check for leaks, inspect piston rings, replace air filter
Excessive noise Loose components, worn bearings, lack of oil Tighten all bolts, check bearings, verify oil level
Overheating Dirty cooling fins, low oil, restricted airflow Clean cooling fins, check oil level, ensure proper ventilation
Oil in air lines Overfilled oil, worn piston rings, faulty separator Check oil level, inspect rings, replace separator element
Frequent cycling Air leaks, faulty pressure switch, small tank Check for leaks, adjust pressure switch, verify tank size

Error Codes

  • E01: Over temperature - Allow to cool, check ventilation
  • E02: Low oil pressure - Check oil level and pump
  • E03: Motor overload - Reduce load, check voltage
  • E04: Pressure sensor fault - Check sensor connections
  • E05: Thermal overload - Reset, check motor amperage
  • E06: Phase loss - Check all three power phases
