Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Multimeter
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tube cutter and flaring tool
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance for airflow, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Securely mount the indoor unit on a sturdy wall, ensuring proper leveling and clearance from ceiling and walls.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a solid, level pad with proper vibration isolation and drainage considerations.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly sized circuit with correct voltage (208-230V) and install disconnect switch within sight of unit.
  6. Connect Drain Line: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and trap to ensure proper drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, then charge with correct refrigerant type and amount per manufacturer specifications.
  8. Test Run: Test heating and cooling modes, check temperature differentials, and verify proper operation of all functions.
Warning: HVAC installation and repair should only be performed by licensed technicians. Improper installation can cause equipment damage, personal injury, or void warranty.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced inverter compressor adjusts speed to match cooling/heating demand, providing consistent temperature control and up to 40% energy savings compared to conventional systems.

Heat Pump Operation

Provides both heating and cooling from a single system, efficiently transferring heat between indoors and outdoors for year-round comfort.

Smart Thermostat Integration

Wi-Fi enabled for remote control via smartphone app, allowing temperature adjustments, scheduling, and energy usage monitoring from anywhere.

Quiet Operation

Specially designed fan blades and sound-dampening materials reduce operational noise to as low as 19 dB for the indoor unit.

Auto Clean Function

Automatically dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger after cooling operation to prevent mold and mildew growth, improving air quality.

Multi-Stage Filtration

Three-stage filtration system removes dust, pollen, and other airborne particles for improved indoor air quality.

Operating Modes Explained

Cool Mode

Standard air conditioning operation for hot weather conditions

Heat Mode

Heating operation using heat pump technology for energy-efficient warmth

Auto Mode

Automatically switches between heating and cooling based on room temperature

Dry Mode

Dehumidification without significant cooling for humid conditions

Fan Mode

Circulates air without heating or cooling for improved air distribution

Eco Mode

Energy-saving operation with optimized performance for reduced power consumption

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, thermostat issue Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, check thermostat settings
Poor cooling/heating performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Unit freezing up Low airflow, dirty coils, low refrigerant Clean filters and coils, check airflow, verify refrigerant charge
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation, frozen coil Clear drain line, check installation slope, defrost system
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check compressor
Short cycling Dirty filters, thermostat location, oversized unit Clean filters, relocate thermostat, check system sizing

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Coil temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E3: High pressure protection - Check condenser, clean coils
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check refrigerant charge, leaks
  • E5: Compressor overload - Check voltage, compressor condition
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
