Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Refrigerant manifold gauge set
- Vacuum pump
- Tube cutter and bender
- Leak detector
- Multimeter
- Torque wrench set
- Insulation materials
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Selection: Choose location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls), adequate drainage, and structural support for outdoor unit.
- Mounting: Install mounting brackets for outdoor unit on solid concrete pad or wall brackets. Ensure level installation.
- Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units. Use proper insulation on suction line.
- Electrical Connections: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper voltage (208-230V). Follow local electrical codes for disconnect requirements.
- Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (minimum 1/4" per foot) and trap where required.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes. Charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- System Testing: Test all modes (cooling, heating, fan), check temperature differential, verify proper drainage.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power loss, tripped breaker, faulty remote | Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Insufficient cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain line, improper installation slope | Clear drain line, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues | Tighten components, clean fan blades, check compressor |
| Ice formation on coils | Low refrigerant, dirty coils, airflow restriction | Check charge, clean coils, ensure proper airflow |
| Frequent cycling | Oversized unit, thermostat issues, dirty filters | Verify sizing, check thermostat, clean/replace filters |
Error Codes
