Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigerant manifold gauge set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Tubing cutter and bender
  • Flaring tool set
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Leak detector
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Site Preparation: Select appropriate location with proper clearances, solid mounting surface, and adequate ventilation.
  2. Mounting: Install mounting brackets securely to wall or concrete pad, ensuring level installation.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper voltage (208-230V) and install disconnect box within sight of unit.
  4. Refrigerant Lines: Install copper lines with proper insulation, ensure correct line sizes per manufacturer specifications.
  5. Drain Line Installation: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (1/4" per foot) and trap where required.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold vacuum for 30 minutes, then charge with correct refrigerant type and amount.
  7. Startup and Testing: Test all functions, measure temperature differential, verify proper airflow, and check for leaks.
  8. Commissioning: Complete system startup sheet, register warranty, and provide customer orientation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians in accordance with local codes and manufacturer specifications. Improper installation voids warranty.

Wi-Fi Smart Control

Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote monitoring and control via smartphone app, with energy usage tracking and maintenance alerts.

Multi-Stage Filtration System

Four-stage filtration removes dust, pollen, bacteria, and odors, improving indoor air quality and system efficiency.

Quiet Operation

Advanced sound-dampening technology and insulated compressor compartment reduce outdoor unit noise to as low as 56 dB.

Auto-Restart Function

System automatically resumes previous settings after power interruption, eliminating need for manual reset.

Wide Temperature Operation

Operates efficiently in ambient temperatures from -5°F to 115°F, ensuring reliable performance in extreme conditions.

Installation Safety Features

High Pressure Cut-Out

Automatically shuts down system if refrigerant pressure exceeds safe limits

Low Pressure Cut-Out

Protects compressor from damage due to refrigerant loss or restriction

Freeze Protection

Prevents coil freezing by monitoring temperature and adjusting operation

Overload Protection

Electronic protection for compressor and fan motors against electrical overloads

Reverse Phase Protection

Prevents operation if power phases are incorrectly connected

Drain Overflow Protection

Float switch shuts off unit if condensate drain becomes blocked

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not cooling Power loss, thermostat issue, refrigerant leak Check circuit breaker, verify thermostat settings, check for leaks
Poor cooling performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean/replace filters, check charge, clear obstructions
Unit cycles on/off frequently Dirty condenser, incorrect charge, oversized unit Clean condenser coil, verify refrigerant charge, check sizing
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper slope, broken drain pan Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, replace drain pan
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, failing motor bearings Tighten all fasteners, clear debris, replace motor if needed
Ice formation on coils Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty evaporator Check filters and blower, verify charge, clean evaporator
High energy consumption Dirty coils, incorrect charge, air leaks in ductwork Clean coils, verify charge, seal duct leaks
