Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare the window opening according to the unit's dimensions. Ensure the window can be securely closed around the unit.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it on the mounting brackets, ensuring it's level and secure.
- Seal the Unit: Use the provided foam seals and weather stripping to seal gaps between the unit and window frame.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 115V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
