Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdriver set
  • Drill with bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Caulking gun

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window or wall location that can support the unit's weight and has proper electrical access.
  2. Prepare Opening: For window units, clean the window sill and ensure it's level. For wall units, cut opening to specified dimensions.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets according to manufacturer specifications using appropriate hardware.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and position the unit in the prepared opening, ensuring it sits level and secure.
  5. Secure the Unit: Use provided screws and brackets to secure the air conditioner in place, following all safety guidelines.
  6. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping and caulk around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve energy efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can cause electrical shock, fire hazard, or unit failure.
