Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare the window opening according to the unit dimensions. Ensure the window can support the unit's weight.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner onto the mounting brackets, ensuring it's level and secure.
  5. Seal Gaps: Extend the side panels and use weather stripping to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting
