Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage hose, ensuring proper slope for drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper clearance (minimum 12 inches on all sides).
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring tight connections to prevent leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 230V, 15A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating (if applicable), fan speeds, and thermostat operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, clear obstructions |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibrating pipes | Tighten mounting, clear debris, secure refrigerant lines |
| Frozen indoor unit | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, clear line of sight, check sensor |
