Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a window for portable models or a suitable window opening for window units.
- Prepare Window Opening: For window units, measure and prepare the window opening according to unit dimensions.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets for window units according to manufacturer specifications.
- Place the Unit: Carefully place the air conditioner in the prepared opening or position portable unit near window.
- Secure the Unit: For window units, secure with provided screws and install side panels to seal gaps.
- Connect Exhaust Hose: For portable units, attach exhaust hose to window vent kit and secure in window.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
