Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Window installation kit (included)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a power outlet and window for proper ventilation. Ensure the surface is level and can support the unit's weight.
  2. Window Installation Preparation: For window units, measure the window opening and adjust the window kit accordingly. Clean the window area thoroughly.
  3. Install Window Kit: Secure the window bracket and extendable panels according to the window dimensions. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
  4. Place the Unit: Carefully place the air conditioner in the window opening or position the portable unit near the window. Ensure it's level and stable.
  5. Connect Exhaust Hose: For portable models, attach the exhaust hose to the unit and window vent kit. Ensure all connections are secure.
  6. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified person. Ensure proper support and sealing to prevent accidents and maintain efficiency.

Troubleshooting
