Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter and flaring tool
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location for both indoor and outdoor units with proper clearances and structural support.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it's level. Hang indoor unit on plate.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill 3-inch hole through wall for refrigerant lines and drain hose with slight downward slope.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections.
- Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables and communication wires following wiring diagram.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to proper drainage location with continuous downward slope.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then release refrigerant charge.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak | Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for refrigerant check |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain line, improper installation slope | Clear drain line, ensure proper downward slope of drain hose |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check for proper installation |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
| Unit turns on/off frequently | Dirty filters, thermostat location, oversized unit | Clean filters, relocate thermostat if near heat source, ensure proper sizing |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
- E2: Pipe temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
