Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload Check power supply, reset thermal overload, check pressure switch
Low pressure output Air leaks, worn piston rings, faulty regulator Check for leaks, inspect piston rings, test pressure regulator
Excessive noise/vibration Loose components, worn bearings, improper mounting Tighten all bolts, check motor bearings, ensure level surface
Air leaks Faulty check valve, loose fittings, damaged hose Inspect check valve, tighten all connections, replace damaged hose
Motor overheats Dirty cooling fins, low voltage, excessive cycling Clean cooling fins, check voltage supply, allow proper cool-down
Slow tank fill Clogged air filter, worn pump, intake valve issues Clean/replace air filter, inspect pump, check intake valves
