Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- Pipe thread sealant
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry, well-ventilated location with adequate clearance for maintenance and operation.
- Prepare the Surface: Place the compressor on a solid, level surface capable of supporting its weight during operation.
- Check Oil Level: Before first use, check the oil level in the pump and add recommended compressor oil if necessary.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 15A, AC outlet with correct circuit protection. Do not use an extension cord.
- Air System Setup: Connect air hoses using appropriate fittings. Apply thread sealant to all threaded connections.
- Pressure Settings: Adjust pressure switch to desired cut-in and cut-out pressures according to your application requirements.
- Initial Run: Run the compressor without load for 30 minutes to break in the pump, then check for leaks and proper operation.

Key Features
Oil-Lubricated Pump
The oil-lubricated pump provides superior durability and longer life compared to oil-free models, with smoother operation and better heat dissipation.
ASME Certified Tank
The 20-gallon ASME certified tank meets strict safety standards and includes a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Thermal Overload Protection
Built-in thermal overload protection automatically shuts off the motor if it overheats, preventing damage and ensuring safe operation.
Low Oil Shutoff
Automatic low oil shutoff protects the pump from damage by stopping operation when oil levels fall below safe operating limits.
Dual Voltage Capability
Can be configured for either 120V or 240V operation, providing flexibility for different workshop setups and power requirements.
Quick-Connect Coupler
Industrial-style quick-connect coupler allows for fast tool changes without tools or complicated disconnections.
Performance Applications
Air Tools
Power impact wrenches, ratchets, and air hammers for automotive work
Spray Painting
Operate HVLP spray guns for painting and finishing applications
Inflating
Quickly inflate tires, sports equipment, and inflatable toys
Nailing/Stapling
Power framing nailers, finish nailers, and staplers for construction
Cleaning
Operate blow guns for workshop cleaning and debris removal
Air Brushing
Detailed work with air brushes for models and artwork
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload | Check power supply, reset thermal overload, check pressure switch |
| Low pressure output | Air leaks, worn rings, intake filter clogged | Check for leaks, inspect pump rings, clean or replace air filter |
| Excessive noise/vibration | Loose components, worn bearings, improper mounting | Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, ensure proper mounting |
| Oil in air lines | Overfilled oil, worn piston rings, incorrect oil type | Check oil level, inspect rings, use recommended compressor oil |
| Frequent cycling | Air leaks, faulty check valve, undersized tank | Check for leaks, inspect check valve, verify tank size for application |
| Motor overheats | Low voltage, restricted ventilation, excessive cycling | Check voltage, ensure proper ventilation, reduce duty cycle |
Maintenance Schedule
- Daily: Drain moisture from tank, check oil level
- Weekly: Check for air leaks, inspect hoses and connections
- Monthly: Clean air filter, check belt tension (if applicable)
- Every 3 Months: Change compressor oil, inspect valves
- Annually: Replace air filter, inspect safety valve, complete system check
- As Needed: Replace worn parts, repair leaks, service motor
