Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a well-ventilated area on a solid, level floor away from flammable materials.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect for any shipping damage.
  3. Position the Compressor: Place the compressor on a stable surface with adequate clearance for air circulation.
  4. Connect Power Supply: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 15A, AC only outlet. Use a dedicated circuit.
  5. Install Air Filter: Attach the air filter to the intake valve to ensure clean air supply.
  6. Connect Air Hose: Attach air hose to the regulator outlet using appropriate fittings.
  7. Initial Setup: Check oil level, drain tank of any moisture, and ensure all valves are closed.
  8. Test Run: Run the compressor without load for 10 minutes to check for proper operation.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.

Key Features

ASME Certified Tank

30-gallon ASME certified tank provides ample air storage for continuous operation of multiple tools with enhanced safety standards.

Oil-Lubricated Pump

Durable oil-lubricated pump design ensures longer life, better cooling, and quieter operation compared to oil-free models.

Thermal Overload Protection

Built-in thermal overload protection automatically shuts off the motor if it overheats, preventing damage and ensuring safety.

Dual Pressure Gauge

Separate gauges for tank pressure and regulated output pressure allow for precise control of air tool operation.

Quick-Connect Coupler

Industrial-style quick-connect air coupler allows for fast and secure connection of air tools without tools or threading.

Low Oil Shutoff

Automatic shutoff system protects the pump when oil levels are too low, preventing costly damage and repairs.

Air Tool Compatibility

Impact Wrenches

Ideal for automotive work with 1/2" drive impact wrenches

Spray Guns

Sufficient CFM for HVLP spray painting applications

Nail Guns

Perfect for framing, finishing, and roofing nailers

Air Ratchets

Provides consistent power for mechanical work

Die Grinders

Adequate CFM for light grinding and polishing work

Blow Guns

Excellent for cleaning and drying applications

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload Check power supply, reset overload switch, check pressure switch
Low pressure output Leaks, worn rings, intake filter clogged Check for leaks, inspect piston rings, clean/replace air filter
Excessive noise Loose parts, worn bearings, piston slap Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, inspect piston clearance
Oil in air lines Overfilled oil, worn piston rings Drain excess oil, inspect and replace piston rings if needed
Motor overheating Low voltage, restricted ventilation, excessive cycling Check voltage, ensure proper ventilation, adjust pressure switch
Excessive moisture High humidity, inadequate draining, missing air dryer Drain tank regularly, install aftercooler or air dryer

Maintenance Codes

  • OL: Overload - Motor has tripped thermal protection
  • LP: Low Pressure - Compressor not reaching cut-out pressure
  • HP: High Pressure - Pressure switch not cutting out
  • LO: Low Oil - Oil level below minimum
  • LE: Leak Detected - Air pressure dropping rapidly
  • VE: Ventilation - Motor overheating due to poor airflow
