Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Pipe cutter
  • Flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid, level surface.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall, ensuring it is perfectly level. Hang indoor unit on plate.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable platform with proper vibration isolation pads. Ensure adequate airflow clearance.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables to appropriate terminals. Follow local electrical codes and use proper circuit protection.
  6. Connect Communication Wiring: Connect control wiring between indoor and outdoor units as per wiring diagram.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump for minimum 30 minutes. Charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter technology adjusts compressor speed to maintain desired temperature precisely, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to conventional units.

Coanda Airflow

Intelligent airflow control spreads cool or warm air evenly throughout the room, eliminating hot/cold spots and ensuring consistent comfort.

Flash Streamer Technology

Advanced air purification system breaks down allergens, odors, and bacteria, providing cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

Quiet Operation

Specially designed components and sound-dampening materials ensure whisper-quiet operation as low as 19 dB for undisturbed comfort.

Intelligent Eye

Motion sensor detects room occupancy and adjusts operation to save energy when no one is present, automatically resuming comfort settings when movement is detected.

Powerful Operation

Quick cooling and heating capabilities provide rapid temperature adjustment, reaching desired comfort levels faster than conventional units.

Operation Modes

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed settings

Heat Mode

Efficient heating operation with defrost cycle for winter conditions

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture while maintaining comfort

Fan Mode

Air circulation without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Night Mode

Quiet operation with gradual temperature adjustment for undisturbed sleep

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten components, clear debris, check installation stability
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan malfunction Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, distance too far Replace batteries, clear line of sight, move closer to unit
