Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration manifold gauge set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Tube cutter and flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Insulation tape and sealant

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Site Selection: Choose a location for outdoor unit with adequate clearance (minimum 30cm all sides) and proper drainage.
  2. Mounting Indoor Unit: Install indoor unit in ceiling space with proper support and access for maintenance.
  3. Ductwork Installation: Install insulated ductwork with proper sizing and sealing to prevent air leakage.
  4. Refrigerant Piping: Connect refrigerant lines using proper brazing techniques, ensuring nitrogen purge during brazing.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and trap to ensure water drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, then charge with specified amount of R-410A refrigerant.
  8. System Test: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts speed to match cooling/heating demand, providing precise temperature control and up to 30% energy savings.

Intelligent Eye

Motion sensor detects room occupancy and adjusts operation to save energy when rooms are unoccupied, then returns to set temperature when movement is detected.

Coanda Airflow

Advanced airflow design distributes air evenly throughout the room, preventing drafts and ensuring consistent temperature from floor to ceiling.

Flash Streamer Technology

Advanced air purification system breaks down allergens, odors, and bacteria, providing cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

Daikin Intelligent Touch Controller

Wi-Fi enabled touchscreen controller allows remote operation via smartphone app, scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts.

3D Airflow

Multi-directional airflow system allows precise control of air distribution patterns for optimal comfort in any room configuration.

Operation Modes

Auto Mode

System automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Powerful Mode

Rapid cooling/heating for quick temperature adjustment

Quiet Mode

Reduced fan speed for ultra-quiet operation during nighttime

Eco Mode

Energy-saving operation with optimized performance

Dry Mode

Dehumidification without significant cooling

Fan Only

Air circulation without cooling or heating

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, thermostat setting Check power supply, reset breaker, verify thermostat settings
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation Clear drain line, check installation slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten components, clean fan, check mounting
Frozen coils Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filters Check filters, verify airflow, check refrigerant charge
Error codes displayed System fault, sensor failure, communication error Refer to error code chart, contact technician

Common Error Codes

  • U0: Low refrigerant charge - Check for leaks and recharge
  • U2: Low power supply - Check voltage and connections
  • U4: Communication error - Check wiring between units
  • E5: Outdoor unit error - Check compressor and fan
  • E6: Indoor unit error - Check fan motor and sensors
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor - Replace sensor
  • J3: Discharge temperature sensor - Check sensor and wiring
  • L5: Inverter overload - Check power supply and compressor
