Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Refrigeration manifold gauge set
- Vacuum pump
- Tube cutter and flaring tool
- Torque wrench
- Multimeter
- Insulation tape and sealant
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Selection: Choose a location for outdoor unit with adequate clearance (minimum 30cm all sides) and proper drainage.
- Mounting Indoor Unit: Install indoor unit in ceiling space with proper support and access for maintenance.
- Ductwork Installation: Install insulated ductwork with proper sizing and sealing to prevent air leakage.
- Refrigerant Piping: Connect refrigerant lines using proper brazing techniques, ensuring nitrogen purge during brazing.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and trap to ensure water drainage.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, then charge with specified amount of R-410A refrigerant.
- System Test: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not starting | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, thermostat setting | Check power supply, reset breaker, verify thermostat settings |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain line, improper installation | Clear drain line, check installation slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten components, clean fan, check mounting |
| Frozen coils | Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filters | Check filters, verify airflow, check refrigerant charge |
| Error codes displayed | System fault, sensor failure, communication error | Refer to error code chart, contact technician |
Common Error Codes
- U0: Low refrigerant charge - Check for leaks and recharge
- U2: Low power supply - Check voltage and connections
- U4: Communication error - Check wiring between units
- E5: Outdoor unit error - Check compressor and fan
- E6: Indoor unit error - Check fan motor and sensors
- H9: Outdoor temperature sensor - Replace sensor
