Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air conditioner won't start | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check for leaks, clear obstructions |
| Water leaking inside | Clogged drain line, improper installation | Clear drain line, check installation angle |
| Unusual noises | Loose components, debris in fan, bearing wear | Tighten fasteners, clear debris, check fan motor |
| Fan runs but no cooling | Compressor issue, refrigerant leak, capacitor failure | Check compressor operation, inspect for leaks, test capacitor |
| Unit cycles on/off frequently | Dirty coils, thermostat location, overcharging | Clean coils, relocate thermostat, check refrigerant charge |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
- E2: Coil temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
- E3: High pressure fault - Check for restrictions, clean coils
- E4: Low pressure fault - Check for leaks, refrigerant charge
- E5: Compressor overload - Check electrical connections
- E6: Communication error - Check control board connections
