Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air conditioner won't start Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filters, check for leaks, clear obstructions
Water leaking inside Clogged drain line, improper installation Clear drain line, check installation angle
Unusual noises Loose components, debris in fan, bearing wear Tighten fasteners, clear debris, check fan motor
Fan runs but no cooling Compressor issue, refrigerant leak, capacitor failure Check compressor operation, inspect for leaks, test capacitor
Unit cycles on/off frequently Dirty coils, thermostat location, overcharging Clean coils, relocate thermostat, check refrigerant charge

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Coil temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
  • E3: High pressure fault - Check for restrictions, clean coils
  • E4: Low pressure fault - Check for leaks, refrigerant charge
  • E5: Compressor overload - Check electrical connections
  • E6: Communication error - Check control board connections
