Step-by-Step Setup
- Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back of remote and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Power On AC Unit: Ensure the main Dometic air conditioner unit is powered on and in standby mode.
- Pair Remote (if required): For coded remotes, follow pairing procedure: press and hold SET button for 5 seconds until LED flashes, then press any mode button.
- Test Basic Functions: Point remote at AC unit and test Power On/Off, Temperature Up/Down, and Fan Speed controls.
- Wi-Fi Setup (Smart Models): Download Dometic Control App, follow in-app instructions to connect remote and AC unit to your home network.
