Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Wire strippers/cutters
- Voltage tester
- Drill with 1/8" bit
- Level
- Electrical tape
Step-by-Step Installation
- Power Disconnection: Turn off all power to the air conditioning system at the main breaker panel before beginning installation.
- Select Mounting Location: Choose a location on an interior wall away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect temperature readings.
- Mounting Plate Installation: Remove existing thermostat (if applicable) and mount the new thermostat base plate using provided screws.
- Wire Connection: Connect thermostat wires according to wiring diagram - typically includes R (power), C (common), Y (cooling), G (fan), and W (heat) terminals.
- Thermostat Attachment: Snap the thermostat unit onto the mounted base plate ensuring all connections are secure.
- Power Restoration: Restore power at the breaker panel and verify thermostat powers on correctly.
- System Testing: Test all functions including cooling, heating, and fan operations to ensure proper installation.

Automatically adjusts temperature settings when the RV is unoccupied, reducing energy consumption by up to 20% without compromising comfort.
Backlit Touch Display
High-contrast LCD with adjustable backlight provides clear visibility in all lighting conditions, with intuitive touch controls for easy operation.
7-Day Programmability
Set different temperature schedules for each day of the week with up to 4 periods per day, allowing for customized comfort and energy savings.
Filter Change Reminder
Automatically tracks system runtime and displays a reminder when it's time to clean or replace the air conditioner filter for optimal performance.
System Diagnostics
Built-in diagnostic system monitors AC unit performance and displays error codes to help identify issues before they become major problems.
Operating Modes Explained
Cool Mode
Standard air conditioning operation with adjustable temperature setpoint and fan speed control
Heat Mode
Controls heat pump or auxiliary heating systems with separate temperature settings
Auto Mode
Automatically switches between heating and cooling to maintain set temperature
Fan Only Mode
Circulates air without heating or cooling, with multiple fan speed options
Economy Mode
Energy-saving operation with wider temperature differentials to reduce cycling
Vacation Mode
Maintains minimum temperature protection while conserving maximum energy
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blank display | No power, blown fuse, wiring issue | Check power supply, replace fuse, verify wiring connections |
| Incorrect temperature reading | Poor location, heat source nearby, needs calibration | Relocate thermostat, calibrate temperature sensor |
| AC won't turn on | Wrong mode selected, setpoint too high, system lockout | Select cool mode, lower temperature setting, reset system |
| Short cycling | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, incorrect sizing | Clean/replace filter, check refrigerant charge |
| Fan runs continuously | Fan setting on "ON" instead of "AUTO" | Change fan setting to AUTO mode |
| Error codes displayed | System fault, sensor failure, communication error | Refer to error code chart, reset system, contact service |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
- E2: Coil temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
- E3: Communication error - Check wiring between thermostat and AC unit
- E4: System pressure fault - Check refrigerant levels and compressor
- E5: Compressor overload - Allow system to cool, check voltage
- E6: Fan motor fault - Check fan motor and capacitor
