Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filter, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean or replace filter, check for obstructions, contact service if refrigerant low
Water leaking inside RV Clogged drain, improper installation, condensation Clear drain tube, check installation angle, ensure proper sealing
Unusual noises Loose components, debris in fan, motor issues Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris from fan, contact service for motor issues
Fan runs but no cooling Compressor issue, thermostat problem, electrical fault Check compressor operation, verify thermostat function, check electrical connections
Unit cycles on/off frequently Dirty coils, low refrigerant, thermostat location Clean condenser coils, check refrigerant charge, relocate thermostat if in direct sunlight
