Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant scale
  • Flaring tool set
  • Tubing cutter
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Drill with hole saw kit
  • Level
  • Pipe bender

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose appropriate locations for indoor and outdoor units considering airflow, drainage, and structural support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket using appropriate anchors for wall type, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Refrigerant Line Hole: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall with a slight downward slope toward the outside for drainage.
  4. Install Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper tubing between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and avoiding sharp bends.
  5. Connect Drainage Line: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (minimum 1/4 inch per foot) and route to appropriate drainage point.
  6. Electrical Connections: Connect power and communication cables following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
  7. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate the system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians. Proper refrigerant handling certification is required by law.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter compressor adjusts speed to match cooling/heating demand, providing precise temperature control and up to 40% energy savings compared to conventional systems.

Multi-Zone Capability

Connect up to 5 indoor units to a single outdoor unit, allowing independent temperature control in different rooms or zones for optimal comfort and efficiency.

Wi-Fi Smart Control

Built-in Wi-Fi enables remote control via smartphone app, including scheduling, energy monitoring, and integration with smart home systems like Alexa and Google Home.

Auto Clean Function

Automatically dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger after operation to prevent mold and mildew growth, maintaining air quality and system efficiency.

Quiet Operation

Ultra-quiet operation as low as 19 dB in sleep mode, quieter than a whisper, ensuring undisturbed comfort day and night.

4-Way Airflow

Adjustable louvers provide multi-directional airflow with automatic swing function for even temperature distribution throughout the room.

Operating Modes Explained

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature settings from 60°F to 86°F

Heat Mode

Heating operation with efficient heat pump technology, effective down to -13°F

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture without overcooling the room

Fan Mode

Circulates air without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options

Auto Mode

Automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for comfortable sleeping conditions

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, tripped breaker, remote control issue Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Water leakage from indoor unit Clogged drain line, improper installation slope Clear drain line, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check isolation
Ice formation on coils Low refrigerant, dirty filters, low airflow Check refrigerant charge, clean filters, check fan operation
Remote control not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Pipe temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E3: Communication error - Check wiring between units
  • E4: High pressure protection - Check for blockage, clean outdoor unit
  • E5: Low pressure protection - Check for leaks, refrigerant charge
  • E6: Compressor overload - Allow system to cool, check voltage
  • E7: Fan motor error - Check fan motor and connections
  • E8: Four-way valve error - Check valve operation
