Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, timer set | Check power cord connection, reset circuit breaker, check timer settings |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, room too large, extreme outdoor temperatures | Clean or replace air filter, ensure proper room size match, close curtains |
| Water leaking inside room | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Tilt unit slightly outward (1/4" per foot), clear drain holes |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all screws, clean fan area, check installation stability |
| Unit cycles on/off frequently | Dirty filter, thermostat setting too high, room heat sources | Clean filter, lower thermostat setting, reduce room heat sources |
| Ice formation on coils | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filter, contact service technician, ensure proper airflow |
