Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that may interfere with installation.
  3. Install Support Bracket: Secure the metal bracket to the window sill using provided screws to support the air conditioner's weight.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it on the support bracket, ensuring it sits securely.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion-style side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Secure the Unit: Close the window onto the top of the unit and use the locking brackets to secure it in place.
  7. Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam weather stripping to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two adults. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
