Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Refrigerant gauge manifold
- Vacuum pump
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Pipe cutter
- Flaring tool
- Leak detector
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Selection: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls), away from heat sources, and with adequate drainage.
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Securely mount the outdoor unit bracket to a solid wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it's perfectly level.
- Wall Penetration: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall at a slight downward angle (indoor to outdoor) for drainage.
- Refrigerant Line Connection: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units using flare fittings. Ensure connections are tight and properly sealed.
- Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit with proper grounding.
- Drainage System: Install drain hose with proper slope (minimum 1cm per meter) to ensure water flows away from the unit.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, then charge with the specified amount of refrigerant.
- Test Run: Run the system through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling/heating performance, and any leaks.
