Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload tripped Check power supply, reset thermal overload, inspect pressure switch
Low air pressure Air leaks, worn pump rings, clogged intake filter Check for leaks, inspect pump, clean or replace air filter
Excessive noise/vibration Loose components, worn bearings, improper mounting Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, ensure proper installation
Overheating Dirty cooling fins, low oil, restricted ventilation Clean cooling fins, check oil level, improve ventilation
Oil in air lines Worn piston rings, overfilled oil, faulty separator Check piston rings, adjust oil level, inspect separator
Slow recovery time Worn valves, leaking check valve, undersized piping Inspect valves, check for leaks, verify pipe sizing

Maintenance Codes & Indicators
