Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Air hose

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry, well-ventilated area with sufficient clearance for maintenance and operation.
  2. Prepare the Surface: Place on a solid, level concrete floor capable of supporting the compressor's weight.
  3. Check Oil Level: Verify oil level in pump crankcase before first use. Fill to proper level if necessary.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 15A, 60Hz outlet with correct circuit protection.
  5. Air System Setup: Install air filter on intake, connect air hose to outlet using appropriate fittings.
  6. Pressure Settings: Adjust pressure switch cut-in and cut-out settings according to tool requirements.
  7. Initial Run: Run compressor without load for 30 minutes to break in pump components.
  8. Safety Check: Verify safety valve operation and check for air leaks at all connections.
Warning: Always wear safety glasses when operating air compressor. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.

Key Features

ASME Certified Tank

30-gallon ASME certified tank with maximum working pressure of 200 PSI for safe, reliable air storage and consistent tool performance.

Oil-Lubricated Pump

Twin cylinder oil-lubricated pump provides longer life, quieter operation, and better heat dissipation compared to oil-free models.

Thermal Overload Protection

Built-in thermal overload protection automatically shuts off motor if it overheats, preventing damage and ensuring safety.

Low Oil Shutoff

Automatic shutoff system protects pump from damage when oil level falls below minimum required level.

Pressure Regulator

Easy-to-adjust pressure regulator with gauge allows precise control of output pressure for different tools and applications.

Quick-Connect Coupler

Industrial-style quick-connect coupler allows fast tool changes without tools or excessive air loss.

Recommended Applications

Air Tools

Ideal for impact wrenches, ratchets, drills, and sanders requiring 4-6 CFM

Spray Painting

Sufficient capacity for HVLP spray guns and automotive painting

Inflating

Perfect for tires, sports equipment, inflatable toys and pools

Nailing/Stapling

Excellent for framing nailers, finish nailers, and staplers

Cleaning

Powerful air flow for workshop cleaning and dust removal

Air Brushing

Consistent pressure for detailed air brush work

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload Check power supply, reset thermal overload, check pressure switch
Low pressure output Leaks, worn rings, intake filter clogged Check for leaks, replace piston rings, clean air filter
Excessive noise/vibration Loose components, worn bearings, improper mounting Tighten all fasteners, check motor bearings, ensure level mounting
Oil in air lines Overfilled oil, worn piston rings Drain excess oil, replace piston rings, install air line filter
Motor overheats Low voltage, restricted ventilation, excessive cycling Check voltage, ensure proper ventilation, allow cool-down periods
Slow tank fill Intake filter clogged, leaking check valve, worn pump Clean/replace filter, replace check valve, rebuild pump
Safety valve blows Faulty pressure switch, stuck unloader valve Replace pressure switch, clean/replace unloader valve

Maintenance Schedule

  • Daily: Drain moisture from tank, check oil level
  • Weekly: Check for air leaks, inspect hoses
  • Monthly: Clean intake filter, check belt tension
  • Every 3 Months: Change oil (or per manufacturer schedule)
  • Every 6 Months: Check safety valve operation
  • Annually: Complete system inspection, replace air filter
