Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Torque wrench
  • Pipe thread sealant
  • Level
  • Air pressure gauge
  • Safety gloves and glasses

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Location: Choose a well-ventilated area with solid, level concrete foundation, away from flammable materials.
  2. Foundation Preparation: Prepare a level concrete pad with vibration isolation mounts as specified in foundation drawings.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to appropriate power supply (see specifications) using proper gauge wiring and circuit protection.
  4. Air System Connection: Install air lines using proper pipe sizing, include moisture traps and pressure regulators.
  5. Cooling System: Ensure adequate ventilation and cooling air flow around compressor unit.
  6. Oil Check: Verify proper oil level and type before initial startup.
  7. Initial Startup: Perform initial startup following safety procedures and check for leaks.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel following all local codes and regulations. Failure to properly install may void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Compressor won't start Power issue, safety switch tripped, control fault Check power supply, reset safety switches, check control panel for errors
Low air pressure Air leaks, clogged filter, worn components Check for leaks, replace air filter, inspect valves and seals
Excessive noise/vibration Loose mounting, worn bearings, misalignment Tighten mounting bolts, check bearings, verify alignment
Overheating Dirty cooler, low oil, restricted airflow Clean cooler fins, check oil level, ensure proper ventilation
High energy consumption Air leaks, wrong pressure settings, inefficient operation Fix leaks, adjust pressure settings, optimize control parameters
Oil in air lines Worn separator, overfilled oil, faulty check valve Replace separator element, correct oil level, check/replace valves

Error Codes

  • E01: High temperature - Check cooling system and ventilation
  • E02: Low oil pressure - Check oil level and pressure switch
  • E03: Motor overload - Check electrical connections and load
  • E04: Pressure sensor fault - Check pressure sensor and wiring
  • E05: Phase loss - Check three-phase power supply
  • E06: Communication error - Check control system connections
  • E07: Separator clogged - Replace separator element
  • E08: Emergency stop activated - Reset emergency stop button
