Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench set
- Socket set
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe thread sealant
- Level
- Air hose fittings
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Location: Choose a clean, dry, well-ventilated area with sufficient clearance for maintenance and operation.
- Foundation Preparation: Place compressor on a solid, level concrete floor or vibration-absorbing pads.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to appropriate power supply (see specifications). Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Air System Connection: Install air line piping with proper slope for drainage. Use thread sealant on all connections.
- Oil Check: Verify oil level is at proper mark on sight glass before initial startup.
- Pressure Settings: Set cut-in and cut-out pressures according to application requirements.
- Initial Startup: Open drain valves, start compressor, and check for proper operation and leaks.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload tripped | Check power supply, reset overload, verify pressure switch operation |
| Low air pressure | Air leaks, worn valves, intake filter clogged | Check for leaks, inspect valves, clean or replace air filter |
| Excessive noise | Loose components, worn bearings, piston slap | Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, inspect piston clearance |
| Overheating | Dirty cooling fins, low oil, restricted airflow | Clean cooling fins, check oil level, ensure proper ventilation |
| Oil in air lines | Worn piston rings, overfilled oil, wrong oil type | Check rings, drain excess oil, use recommended compressor oil |
| Excessive cycle time | Air leaks, worn pump, undersized piping | Locate and repair leaks, check pump condition, verify pipe size |
Maintenance Codes & Indicators
- Red Oil Light: Low oil pressure - Check oil level and pump immediately
- Thermal Overload Trip: Motor overheating - Allow cool down, check ventilation
- Pressure Switch Failure: Won't start/stop - Check contacts and adjustment
- Unusual Vibration: Loose mounts or worn parts - Inspect foundation and components
- Water in Tank: Excessive moisture - Drain tank regularly, check aftercooler
- Belt Squeal: Loose or worn belt - Adjust tension or replace belt
