Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Refrigerant manifold gauge set
- Vacuum pump
- Torque wrench
- Flaring tool
- Leak detector
- Multimeter
- Pipe cutter
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Preparation: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls), solid mounting surface, and adequate drainage.
- Mounting Unit: Securely mount indoor and outdoor units using appropriate brackets and hardware according to local building codes.
- Refrigerant Piping: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring techniques. Ensure all connections are airtight.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Drainage System: Install drain pipe with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure condensate water flows away from unit.
- Vacuum Process: Evacuate system to 500 microns or less for minimum 15 minutes to remove moisture and non-condensables.
- R454B Charging: Charge system with R454B refrigerant according to manufacturer's specified weight. Do not mix with other refrigerants.
- System Testing: Test for leaks, verify proper operation, and check all safety controls and temperature settings.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not starting | Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check installation |
| Frozen coils | Dirty filters, low airflow, low refrigerant | Clean filters, check fan operation, verify refrigerant charge |
| Error codes displayed | Sensor failure, communication error, system fault | Refer to error code chart, check connections, contact service |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
- E2: Pipe temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
