Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter and flaring tool
  • Leak detector

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from side walls) on a solid wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm diameter hole through the wall at a slight downward angle to the outside for drainage.
  4. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper clearance (minimum 30cm all around) for airflow.
  5. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling, and heating performance.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a certified HVAC technician. Improper installation may cause injury, damage, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for leak check
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation angle Clear drain pipe, ensure proper installation slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, check installation stability
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor issue Clean filters, contact technician for refrigerant check
Remote not working Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window
