Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with manifold gauge
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Flaring tool set
- Tubing cutter
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Power drill with hole saw
- Leak detector
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) and adequate structural support.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket using appropriate anchors for wall type (concrete, brick, or drywall).
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall at a downward angle (indoor side higher) for drainage.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Connect Drainage Pipe: Install drainage pipe with continuous downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to prevent water accumulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run system in cooling and heating modes to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
