Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Torque wrench
  • Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
  • Pipe cutter and flaring tool

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) on a solid wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 65mm hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes and drainage, ensuring slight downward slope for drainage.
  4. Connect Piping: Connect refrigerant pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and drainage system.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, clear obstructions
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope of drainage
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten all screws, clean fan blades, check mounting stability
Remote not working Battery issues, signal obstruction, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor issue Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan operation

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Pipe temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E3: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E4: High pressure protection - Clean outdoor unit, check fan
  • E5: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leaks
