Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a well-ventilated location on a solid, level floor away from flammable materials and excessive moisture.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, brackets, and packaging materials from the air compressor.
- Check Oil Level: Verify the oil level in the pump (if oil-lubricated model) and add recommended compressor oil if necessary.
- Connect Power Supply: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 15A, AC only outlet. Use appropriate gauge extension cord if needed.
- Install Air Regulator: Connect the air regulator and pressure gauge according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Connect Air Hose: Attach air hose using appropriate fittings, ensuring all connections are tight and leak-free.
- Initial Test Run: Run the compressor without load for 10-15 minutes to break in the pump and check for proper operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload tripped | Check power supply, reset thermal overload, check pressure switch |
| Low pressure output | Air leak, worn pump rings, clogged intake filter | Check for leaks, clean or replace intake filter, inspect pump |
| Excessive noise | Loose components, worn bearings, piston slap | Tighten all fasteners, check motor and pump bearings |
| Overheating | Dirty cooling fins, inadequate ventilation, continuous operation | Clean cooling fins, improve ventilation, allow cool-down periods |
| Air tank moisture | High humidity, inadequate draining, missing air dryer | Drain tank regularly, install air dryer, reduce humidity exposure |
| Slow recovery time | Worn pump, intake restriction, leaking check valve | Clean intake, check valve operation, inspect pump condition |
Maintenance Schedule
- Daily: Drain moisture from tank, check oil level (if applicable)
- Weekly: Inspect hoses and connections for leaks
- Monthly: Clean intake filter, check belt tension (if applicable)
- Quarterly: Inspect safety valve, check pump condition
- Annually: Complete system inspection, replace worn components
