Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Tape measure
- Sealant and insulation tape
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare window opening according to unit dimensions. Ensure window sill is clean and level.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets to window sill using provided screws and ensure they are level.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend side panels to fit window width and secure them in place.
- Seal Gaps: Use foam insulation strips to seal gaps between unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
