Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Tape measure
  • Sealant and insulation tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare window opening according to unit dimensions. Ensure window sill is clean and level.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets to window sill using provided screws and ensure they are level.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend side panels to fit window width and secure them in place.
  6. Seal Gaps: Use foam insulation strips to seal gaps between unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.
