Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Level
- Tape measure
- Caulking gun
- Utility knife
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with proper wall support.
- Prepare Window Opening: Clean the window area and ensure the sill is level. Remove any obstacles from the installation area.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
- Seal the Unit: Use the provided foam seals and weather stripping to prevent air leaks around the unit.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
