Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Caulking gun
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with proper wall support.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Clean the window area and ensure the sill is level. Remove any obstacles from the installation area.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Seal the Unit: Use the provided foam seals and weather stripping to prevent air leaks around the unit.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support to prevent the unit from falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
