Window Type AC

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Sealant gun
  • Support bracket

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window with proper support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and surrounding area, ensuring it's level and free of debris.
  3. Install Support Bracket: Secure the metal support bracket to the window sill using provided screws.
  4. Position Air Conditioner: Carefully place the AC unit on the support bracket, ensuring it's centered and level.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Secure Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and support bracket.
  7. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping or foam sealant around all gaps to prevent air leaks.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V/230V grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper electrical grounding and structural support.
