Initial Setup & Battery Installation
- Open Battery Compartment: Slide open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
- Insert Batteries: Insert two AAA batteries (1.5V) observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Close Compartment: Securely close the battery cover until it clicks into place.
- Initial Test: Point the remote at your Midea AC unit and press any button to test.
- Reset if Needed: If remote doesn't work, remove batteries for 1 minute then reinsert.

Operating Modes Explained
Cool Mode
Standard cooling operation. Set desired temperature (16°C-30°C / 61°F-86°F).
Heat Mode
Heating operation (heat pump models only). Temperature range: 16°C-30°C.
Dry Mode
Dehumidification without significant cooling. Ideal for humid conditions.
Fan Mode
Air circulation only. Choose from multiple fan speeds.
Auto Mode
AC automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature.
Sleep Mode
Gradually adjusts temperature over 7 hours for optimal sleeping comfort.
Operation Guide
Basic Operation Steps
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn AC unit on or off.
- Select Mode: Press Mode button to cycle through Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan, and Auto.
- Set Temperature: Use ▲ and ▼ buttons to adjust temperature setting.
- Adjust Fan Speed: Press Fan button to cycle through Auto, Low, Medium, High speeds.
- Control Air Swing: Press Swing button to activate vertical/horizontal louvers.
- Set Timer: Press Timer button, then use ▲▼ to set hours, press Timer again to confirm.
- Special Modes: Press Turbo for rapid cooling/heating, Eco for energy saving, or Sleep for bedtime.
Advanced Functions
Temperature Unit Conversion
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit: Press and hold Mode and ▼ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Reset to Default
To restore factory settings: Remove batteries, press and hold Power button for 10 seconds, reinsert batteries.
Child Lock
Press and hold Turbo and Eco buttons for 3 seconds to lock/unlock remote control buttons.
Filter Reset
After cleaning AC filter, press and hold Fan button for 5 seconds to reset filter timer.
Troubleshooting

Error Indicators
- No Display: Replace batteries immediately

- Signal Not Transmitting: Check battery polarity, clean battery contacts
- Mode Not Available: Selected mode not supported by your AC model
