  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for wall type.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper ventilation clearance.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from system using vacuum pump, then charge with refrigerant.
  7. Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technician. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, remote control batteries, circuit breaker Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, low refrigerant Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for refrigerant check
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope of drain line
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten components, clear debris, defrost unit
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, clear line of sight, check sensor
Unit freezing up Dirty filters, low airflow, low outdoor temperature Clean filters, check fan operation, use appropriate mode for conditions

Error Codes

  • E0: Protection device activated - Wait 3 minutes and restart
  • E1: Indoor unit PCB error - Contact service center
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • H0: Sensor error - Check temperature sensors
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor error - Contact technician
  • P1: Overload protection - Reduce load or wait for reset
