Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Torque wrench set
  • Flaring tool kit
  • Tube cutter and bender
  • Multimeter and leak detector
  • Level and measuring tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls), away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to wall studs using appropriate fasteners, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Install Refrigerant Piping: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure pipes are properly insulated.
  4. Electrical Connections: Connect power supply (220-240V, 50Hz) to outdoor unit and control wiring between indoor/outdoor units following wiring diagram.
  5. Drainage Installation: Install drain hose with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) away from the building. Use insulation on drain pipe in unconditioned spaces.
  6. Vacuum and Dehydration: Evacuate system to 500 microns absolute pressure and hold for 15 minutes to ensure no moisture remains.
  7. Refrigerant Charging: Charge with R32 refrigerant according to pipe length using electronic scale. Never overcharge.
  8. Test Run: Perform complete system test including cooling, heating, and all fan speeds. Check for leaks and proper drainage.
Warning: Only certified HVAC technicians should install Mitsubishi air conditioning systems. Improper installation may cause equipment damage, refrigerant leaks, or safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter compressor adjusts speed to match cooling/heating demand, providing precise temperature control while reducing energy consumption by up to 30%.

3D i-See Sensor

Intelligent infrared sensors detect human presence and movement, automatically directing airflow away from occupants for optimal comfort without drafts.

Hyper Heating

Maintains full heating capacity even in extreme cold down to -15°C (-25°C for some models), ensuring reliable warmth throughout winter.

Plasma Quad Plus

Four-stage air purification system removes dust, pollen, odors, bacteria, and viruses while deactivating allergens for healthier indoor air quality.

Wi-Fi Control

Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote control via smartphone app, including scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts.

Eco-friendly R32 Refrigerant

Uses R32 refrigerant with 68% lower global warming potential than R410A, contributing to reduced environmental impact.

Advanced Operation Modes

Auto Changeover

Automatically switches between cooling and heating based on room temperature

Powerful Mode

Rapid cooling/heating operation for quick temperature adjustment

Eco Mode

Optimizes operation for maximum energy savings while maintaining comfort

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for undisturbed sleep

I-Feel Control

Uses remote control as temperature sensor for precise spot cooling/heating

Quiet Operation

Special low-noise operation for nighttime or quiet environments

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check refrigerant charge
Water leakage Clogged drain pipe, improper slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain line, ensure proper gradient, check for ice formation
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from piping Tighten all fasteners, clean fan blades, check pipe insulation
Error codes displayed System malfunction, sensor failure, communication error Note error code and consult technical manual
Frequent cycling Oversized unit, thermostat location, dirty coils Check unit sizing, relocate thermostat, clean indoor/outdoor coils

Common Error Codes

  • E0: Protection device activated - Check for obstructions
  • E1: Indoor PCB malfunction - Contact service center
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring connections
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan operation
  • H0: Sensor error (indoor) - Replace temperature sensor
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • P1: Overload protection - Allow system to cool down
  • P8: High temperature protection - Check refrigerant charge
