Installation Guide

Before You Begin:

  • Check remote control battery compartment
  • Ensure air conditioner power is ON
  • Have fresh AAA batteries ready
  • Clear line of sight to AC unit
  • Read safety instructions

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open battery compartment on back of remote, insert 2 AAA batteries observing correct polarity.
  2. Remote Pairing: Point remote at AC unit, press and hold "SET" button for 5 seconds until indicator light flashes.
  3. Initial Test: Press power button to ensure remote communicates with air conditioner unit.
  4. Code Setup (if needed): For universal models, enter 4-digit code specific to your Mitsubishi model.
  5. Function Test: Test all major functions: temperature adjustment, mode selection, fan speed, and timer settings.
  6. Remote Placement: Install remote in provided wall bracket or keep in accessible location away from direct sunlight.
  7. Final Verification: Ensure all functions operate correctly from typical usage distance (up to 8 meters).
Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Keep remote control away from water and extreme temperatures.
