Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with manifold gauge
- Torque wrench
- Flaring tool set
- Pipe cutter
- Level
- Drill with hole saw attachment
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) and away from heat sources.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket using appropriate anchors for wall type (concrete/brick/plasterboard).
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads and minimum 30cm clearance on all sides.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections with proper torque specifications.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to Singapore electrical standards (230V, 50Hz).
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Test cooling and heating functions, check for leaks, and verify proper drainage.
