Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration gauge manifold
  • Vacuum pump
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool
  • Pipe cutter
  • Multimeter
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location for outdoor unit with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls) on a solid, level concrete pad.
  2. Mount Indoor Units: Install indoor units on interior walls with proper spacing from ceiling (minimum 15cm) and walls (minimum 10cm).
  3. Install Refrigerant Piping: Connect copper piping between outdoor and indoor units using proper insulation and flare connections.
  4. Electrical Connections: Connect power supply to outdoor unit (240V, 60Hz) and indoor units according to local electrical codes.
  5. Communication Wiring: Install communication wiring between outdoor unit and all indoor units using shielded cable.
  6. Drainage System: Install condensate drain lines with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) and trap for each indoor unit.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold vacuum for 30 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. System Test: Power on system, test all functions, modes, and verify proper operation of all zones.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause equipment damage, void warranty, and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
System won't start Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for leak check
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper slope, frozen coil Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice on coil
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check isolation
Error code displayed System fault, sensor failure, communication error Note error code, power cycle system, contact technician
Uneven temperatures Improper zoning, airflow restrictions, sizing issue Check zone dampers, clear vents, verify system capacity

Common Error Codes

  • E0: Outdoor unit protection - Check outdoor unit operation
  • E1: Indoor unit PCB error - Power cycle indoor unit
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between units
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan operation
  • H0: Refrigerant leak detected - Contact technician immediately
  • H3: High pressure protection - Check for restrictions
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • P1: Voltage protection - Check power supply voltage
