Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration gauge manifold
  • Vacuum pump
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool set
  • Multimeter
  • Level
  • Pipe cutter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location for outdoor unit with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls) and solid foundation.
  2. Mount Indoor Units: Install indoor units on interior walls with proper spacing from ceiling and walls as specified in manual.
  3. Install Refrigerant Piping: Connect copper pipes between outdoor and indoor units using proper insulation and flare connections.
  4. Electrical Wiring: Connect power supply to outdoor unit (220-240V) and communication wiring between all units following wiring diagram.
  5. Drainage System: Install condensate drain pipes with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) and route to appropriate drainage point.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold vacuum, then charge with specified refrigerant type and amount.
  7. System Test: Power on system, test all functions, check for leaks, and verify proper operation of all zones.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation can cause equipment damage, void warranty, and create safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter compressor adjusts speed continuously to maintain precise temperature control, reducing energy consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional systems.

Multi-Zone Control

Simultaneously control up to 8 indoor units from a single outdoor unit, allowing individual temperature settings for each room or zone.

Hyper-Heating INVERTER®

Provides reliable heating performance even in extreme cold conditions down to -13°F, maintaining efficiency when conventional heat pumps fail.

3D i-See Sensor

Intelligent sensor detects human presence and movement, automatically directing airflow away from occupants for enhanced comfort.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Connect to Mitsubishi Electric's mobile app for remote control, scheduling, energy monitoring, and system diagnostics from anywhere.

Quiet Operation

Advanced sound-dampening technology and low-vibration design ensure whisper-quiet operation as low as 19 dB for indoor units.

Advanced Operation Modes

Auto Changeover

System automatically switches between heating and cooling based on room temperature and setpoint

Eco Mode

Optimizes energy consumption while maintaining comfort with intelligent temperature adjustments

Powerful Mode

Rapid cooling or heating for quick temperature recovery when entering a room

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature overnight for optimal sleeping conditions and energy savings

I-Feel Control

Remote controller acts as temperature sensor for precise comfort at your location

Follow Me

Uses remote control's built-in sensor to maintain temperature where you are in the room

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
System won't start Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, emergency stop activated Check power supply, reset breakers, verify emergency stop switch
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation slope Clear drain line, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten components, clear debris, check mounting
Ice formation on unit Low refrigerant, dirty coils, airflow restriction Check refrigerant charge, clean coils, ensure proper airflow
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, distance too far Replace batteries, clear line of sight, move closer

Error Codes

  • E0: Outdoor unit protection - Check outdoor unit operation
  • E1: Indoor unit PCB error - Reset system or replace PCB
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan motor and connections
  • H0: Refrigerant leak detection - Check for leaks and charge
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor error - Replace sensor
  • P1: Overload protection - Reduce load or check voltage
  • P8: High temperature protection - Check airflow and clean coils
