Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Saw (for cutting window frame if needed)
  • Support bracket

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and is near an electrical outlet. Ensure proper clearance around the unit.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Measure the window opening to ensure proper fit.
  3. Install Support Bracket: Securely mount the support bracket to the window sill or wall according to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner into the window opening, resting it on the support bracket.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels to fill the window gap and secure them with screws. Install the locking bracket to prevent movement.
  6. Seal the Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can cause water leakage, electrical shock, or unit failure.
