Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench set
- Socket set
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench
- Level
- Teflon tape
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry, well-ventilated area with adequate clearance for maintenance and airflow.
- Foundation Preparation: Place compressor on a solid, level concrete floor or vibration-absorbing pads.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to appropriate power supply (see specifications). Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Air System Connection: Install proper air line piping with drain legs and shut-off valves. Use Teflon tape on all threaded connections.
- Pressure Relief Valve: Ensure pressure relief valve is properly installed and functional.
- Oil Check: Verify proper oil level in crankcase before initial startup.
- Initial Startup: Open drain valves, start compressor, check for leaks, and allow to run through complete cycle.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload | Check power supply, reset overload, verify pressure switch setting |
| Low air pressure | Air leaks, worn valves, intake filter clogged | Check for leaks, inspect valves, clean/replace air filter |
| Excessive noise | Loose components, worn bearings, piston slap | Tighten all fasteners, check bearings, inspect piston clearance |
| Overheating | Dirty cooling fins, low oil, restricted airflow | Clean cooling surfaces, check oil level, ensure proper ventilation |
| Oil in air lines | Worn piston rings, overfilled oil, faulty separator | Check piston rings, adjust oil level, inspect separator element |
| Excessive vibration | Uneven mounting, loose foundation, worn mounts | Level compressor, tighten foundation bolts, replace vibration mounts |
Error Codes & Indicators
- Red Light - Thermal Overload: Motor overheated - Allow to cool, check ventilation
- Yellow Light - Low Oil: Oil level below minimum - Add recommended oil immediately
- Flashing Green - Pressure Switch Error: Pressure switch malfunction - Check adjustment and contacts
- Continuous Beep - High Temperature: Discharge temperature too high - Check cooling system
- Intermittent Beep - Maintenance Due: Scheduled maintenance required - Refer to maintenance schedule
- No Power Light - Electrical Issue: Power supply problem - Check circuit breaker and connections
