Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench set
- Socket set
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Level
- Tape measure
- Pipe thread sealant
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Location: Choose a clean, dry, well-ventilated area with adequate space for maintenance access and proper air circulation.
- Foundation Preparation: Place on a solid, level concrete floor capable of supporting the compressor's weight and vibration.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to appropriate power supply (see specifications). Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Air System Connection: Install air lines using proper fittings. Include a shut-off valve near the compressor outlet.
- Drain Installation: Connect condensate drain line to tank drain valve and route to proper drainage location.
- Pressure Settings: Verify pressure switch settings according to requirements (factory set to 175 PSI cut-out).
- Initial Startup: Perform initial startup procedure including oil level check and safety valve testing.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, pressure switch fault, thermal overload | Check power supply, verify pressure switch settings, reset overloads |
| Low air pressure | Air leaks, clogged filter, worn valves | Check for leaks, replace air filter, inspect valve operation |
| Excessive noise/vibration | Loose mounting, worn bearings, misalignment | Check mounting bolts, inspect bearings, verify alignment |
| High operating temperature | Dirty cooler, low oil level, restricted airflow | Clean cooler fins, check oil level, ensure proper ventilation |
| Excessive oil consumption | Worn seals, overfilling, wrong oil type | Check seals, verify oil level, use recommended oil |
| Frequent cycling | Air leaks, undersized piping, faulty pressure switch | Locate and repair leaks, check piping size, test pressure switch |
Error Codes
- E01: High temperature - Check cooling system and oil level
- E02: Low pressure - Check for leaks and pressure switch E03: Motor overload - Check electrical connections and load
- E04: Phase loss - Verify all three phases present
- E05: Sensor fault - Check temperature/pressure sensors
- E06: Communication error - Check control wiring connections
