Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Refrigerant manifold gauge set
- Vacuum pump
- Leak detector
- Multimeter
- Tubing cutter and bender
- Torque wrench set
- Insulation tape and sealants
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Selection: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 24 inches) around outdoor unit for airflow and service access.
- Mounting: Install outdoor unit on level concrete pad or mounting brackets, ensuring proper drainage.
- Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units using proper brazing techniques with nitrogen purge.
- Electrical Connections: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper disconnect switch. Follow local electrical codes for wire sizing and grounding.
- Drain Line Installation: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (1/4" per foot) and trap where required.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 30 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- System Startup: Check all electrical connections, verify proper airflow, and test all system functions.

Key Features
Inverter Compressor Technology
Variable speed compressor adjusts cooling/heating output to match exact demand, reducing energy consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional units.
Smart Thermostat Compatibility
Works with most smart thermostats for remote temperature control, scheduling, and energy usage monitoring via smartphone apps.
Quiet Operation
Sound-dampening technology and variable speed fans reduce operational noise for quieter indoor and outdoor operation.
Anti-Corrosion Protection
Blue Fin™ anti-corrosion coating on outdoor coil resists salt, acid rain, and industrial pollution for longer lifespan in harsh environments.
Self-Diagnostic System
Advanced diagnostic system monitors 32 different system parameters and provides error codes for quick troubleshooting.
Dehumidification Mode
Special dry mode removes excess humidity without overcooling, improving comfort in humid climates.
Operating Modes Explained
Cool Mode
Standard cooling operation with temperature setpoint control and fan speed adjustment
Heat Mode
Heat pump operation for efficient heating in moderate climates
Auto Mode
System automatically switches between heating and cooling based on room temperature
Dry Mode
Dehumidification-focused operation that removes moisture without significant cooling
Fan Only Mode
Circulates air without heating or cooling, with multiple fan speed options
Energy Saver Mode
Optimizes operation for maximum energy efficiency with minimal comfort compromise
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not cooling/heating | Power loss, thermostat issue, refrigerant leak | Check circuit breaker, verify thermostat settings, check refrigerant pressure |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean/replace filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions |
| Unit cycles on/off frequently | Dirty condenser coil, oversized unit, thermostat location | Clean outdoor coil, verify proper sizing, relocate thermostat |
| Water leakage indoors | Clogged drain line, improper slope, frozen coil | Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice on coil |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, failing motor, debris in fan | Tighten all fasteners, check motor bearings, clear fan of debris |
| High energy consumption | Dirty coils, refrigerant issues, duct leaks | Clean indoor/outdoor coils, verify refrigerant charge, seal ductwork |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Replace sensor
- E2: Coil temperature sensor failure - Replace sensor
