Split System & Central AC Units

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration manifold gauge set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Tubing cutter and bender
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Level
  • Drill with masonry bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Site Selection: Choose location for outdoor unit with adequate clearance (minimum 30cm all sides), proper drainage, and away from heat sources.
  2. Mounting: Install mounting bracket for outdoor unit on solid wall or concrete pad. Ensure unit is level.
  3. Indoor Unit Placement: Mount indoor unit on interior wall, 2-2.5 meters above floor, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  4. Refrigerant Line Installation: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units. Ensure proper insulation on suction line.
  5. Electrical Connections: Connect power supply to outdoor unit (220-240V, dedicated circuit). Connect communication cable between indoor and outdoor units.
  6. Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (minimum 1% grade) to ensure water drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes. Charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. System Test: Test cooling and heating modes, check for leaks, verify proper drainage and airflow.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians. Improper installation can cause equipment damage, reduced efficiency, and void warranty.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Variable speed compressor adjusts cooling/heating output to match exact requirements, reducing energy consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional units.

Wi-Fi Smart Control

Connect to home Wi-Fi for remote control via smartphone app. Schedule operations, monitor energy usage, and receive maintenance alerts.

4-Way Airflow

Adjustable louvers distribute air evenly throughout the room, eliminating hot/cold spots and ensuring consistent comfort.

Auto Clean Function

Automatically dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger after operation to prevent mold and bacteria growth, maintaining air quality.

Quiet Operation

Specialized noise reduction technology including insulated compressor compartment and optimized fan design for ultra-quiet performance.

Eco Mode

Intelligent energy-saving mode that optimizes temperature and fan speed to reduce power consumption while maintaining comfort.

Operating Modes Explained

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature range (16°C - 30°C) and multiple fan speeds.

Heat Mode

Heating operation for heat pump models with automatic defrost cycle for winter operation.

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture without overcooling the room.

Fan Mode

Air circulation only, with multiple speed settings for improved air distribution.

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically switches between cooling and heating based on room temperature.

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for quiet, energy-efficient nighttime operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power failure, tripped breaker, faulty remote Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked condenser Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear condenser area
Water leakage from indoor unit Clogged drain line, improper installation Clear drain line, ensure proper slope and insulation
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check isolation
Frozen evaporator coil Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filter Check fan operation, verify refrigerant charge, clean filter
Unit turns on/off frequently Thermostat issues, dirty condenser, overcharge Check thermostat location/calibration, clean condenser, verify charge
