Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with bits
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Caulking gun

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window or wall location that can support the unit's weight and has proper electrical access.
  2. Prepare Opening: Measure and prepare the window or wall opening according to unit dimensions.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets to the window sill or wall using provided hardware.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner into the prepared opening.
  5. Secure Unit: Use side panels and screws to secure the unit in place, ensuring it's level.
  6. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping and caulk around the unit to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can cause electrical shock, fire hazard, or unit failure.
