Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Measuring tape
  • Level
  • Drill (for window units)
  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a window for portable units or a suitable window for window units. Ensure proper ventilation and clearance.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: For window units, measure and prepare the window opening. Install mounting brackets if required.
  3. Install Exhaust Hose: For portable units, attach the exhaust hose to the unit and secure the window kit according to instructions.
  4. Position the Unit: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it's level for proper drainage.
  5. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V/120V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  6. Check Drainage: Ensure the drainage system is properly set up. For continuous use, consider connecting to a drain hose.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and timer settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed according to local building codes. For window units above ground floor, professional installation is recommended.

Troubleshooting
